In the past 6 months, Australia has seen a number of new and emerging industries surface, one of which that is said to be ‘on trend’ this year is, Hemp!
Hemp finally received the green light go ahead for consumption late last year on November 12th. Since then, Australia has seen a wide range of new and innovative Hemp products such as value added health foods, cosmetics and clothing hitting the market. This super plant has an extremely long list of benefits but if you are hoping it comes with an extra high, you will be mistakenly disappointed. Hemp contains less than 0.3% of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) the psychoactive component of the cannabis plant, meaning there is no risk of psychoactive reaction.

The seeds of the Hemp plant are high in omega 3 and 6, fibre, magnesium and bioavailable protein which aid in strengthening the immune system, improving gut health and cardiovascular health, repairing muscle tissue and increasing energy levels.
