Our Story
Initially launched in 2014 as Passionate Skincare, the SkinFood range amassed a loyal following of health oriented people, also known as #SkinFoodies, who loved the feel, the smell, the glow and the results that SkinFood provided. SkinFood came on the scene when organic, water-free skincare was fringe and people were still yet to understand the negative effects chemical based skincare could have on the body. Stocked in all the hip health food stores throughout Australia and mentioned in numerous magazine publications, SkinFood was on the up and up. A changing of the guards triggered the search for a new name and a re-brand. The term skin food was trademarked and the original labelling wasn't as #instaworthy as it could have been. It was time to stand out and step things up a notch. With absolute love, dedication and deep thought arose a name centered around the main ingredients.
