There are 2 main differences between the Everyday Balm and the Intensive Balm:
 1. The Intensive Balm is vegan and the Everyday Balm is not. The former uses Fair Trade Shea Butter, while the latter uses beeswax.
2. With the combination of rejuvenative Fair Trade Shea Butter and a more potent ratio of natural oils, the Intensive balm is the best choice for those with extremely dry skin or Eczema. 

Yes — the perfect ratio of natural oils, especially with the use of Jojoba oil, makes both the Intensive Balm and the Everyday Balm noncomedogenic (they won't block your pores).

However, we do recommend our Ultra-Hydrating Serum for a lighter application on the face. The serum has delivered the best results when applied to acne-prone skin.

Choose our Intensive Balm. The combination of Fair Trade Shea Butter and the more potent ratio of natural oils makes it effective to address eczema and extremely dry skin. However, if you are allergic to nuts, choose the Everyday balm.

There is no single way to use our products. Everyone's skin needs are different.
However, you can start with the simple guideline below.

OWB Everyday Balm - Take a small amount, rub it evenly in your hands, and coat yourself with the translucent, nourishing balm. A little goes a long way — a pea-sized amount should be more than enough for one entire arm. Always apply to clean skin and allow a few minutes for balm to absorb.

OWB Intensive Balm - When applying to the body, make sure the skin is clean then apply liberally. Apply more (and more frequently) to eczema prone skin. When applying to the face, you'll only need half a pea size. Apply more for problem areas. Don't worry, it wont block your pores!

OWB Ultra-Hydrating Serum - Apply 3-4 drops onto your face after washing, in the morning and evening. Just tap or pat against the skin to smooth the serum out, and let it absorb on its own. It's that simple! You can apply an extra drop or two to any problem areas such as crows feet, acne scars, and wrinkles. 

We are working on it. Every ingredient and formulation is meticulously researched and tested to guarantee the highest quality and effectiveness (no animal testing of course!). With this, it can take a little longer than usual.

OWB is great for the face! We recommend our OWB Ultra-Hydrating Serum for oily skin (face). It contains the perfect combination of natural oils that mimics sebum, which will balance your oils. If your skin is too oily, this is exactly what you need!

Our serum will not cause you to break out. However, some people experience a week of "purging" where your skin gets slightly worse before it gets better. This is your skin going through a small detox, keep going with your serum, as with any detox you will start to see improvements.

This happens when your OWB product has changed temperature too many times, or too rapidly. It's simply the coconut oil pulling away from the other ingredients. Coconut oil can quickly go from liquid to solid, and back again due to temperature change.

Don't worry — this has not damaged the integrity of the product. The coconut oil will melt once it touches your skin. If you're unsatisfied with the product, please reach out to us here.

Yes, Manuka Oil is vegan. Manuka Oil is steam distilled directly from the Manuka leaf. It is totally different to Manuka Honey which, like any honey, is not vegan as it is a bee (animal) by-product.

Absolutely. Our Shea Butter comes from Zabzugu – Tatale district in Tamale, located in the Northern part of Ghana. Our shea butter is sourced directly from women’s co-operatives that operate within the region.

There are high costs involved when farms apply to become Certified Organic. The costs can be unrealistic for small, family run farms.

We could easily switch to a Certified Organic supplier. However, we made the decision to support a small, family run farm based in North QLD instead. That's why we can't make the claims.

When we tested for Jojoba Oils to use, the farm we decided to go with outdid all the others in quality, purity, and in our opinion, farming practices.
Based on their practices alone, we know and guarantee that their Jojoba Oil is organic. For more information on Jojoba Natural's farming practices please contact us here. 

Are your products cruelty-free? OWB is 100% cruelty-free. We do not test on animals and does not ask others to do so. This includes our raw materials.

Both of OWB's Intensive Balm and the Ultra-Hydrating Serum are vegan. While the Everyday Balm is not as it uses beeswax.

We recommend storing our products in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight, especially the Everyday Balm. It is very sensitive to heat fluctuations including air conditioned environments and will become grainy. Please contact us for hacks to remedy this.

We ship Australia-wide and offer Free Standard Shipping to all orders over $100. Flat rate $10 for orders under $100.

We endeavour to dispatch your order within two working days. For most destinations, you will receive your order within 7 working days. However, some remote destinations may take a little longer.

Once purchased and dispatched OWB Skin takes no responsibility for freight delays. 

We use Australia Post Standard Postage Service for all orders.

We respectfully ask that you carefully review your purchase before submitting it to ensure that all information and contents are correct. Please keep in mind that once an order is placed, it cannot be changed.

Refunds - If you have not been issued a tracking number, we can refund your order for change of mind. You will be refunded the transaction amount minus a 6% fee when paying with Afterpay, 2% fee via Shopify payments and 3% fee when paying with PayPal. Please contact us ASAP.

Unfortunately, once an order has been placed, we cannot make any edits or substitutions.

Once an order has been placed, we are unable to change or edit shipping addresses. If your mailing address is incorrect, we recommend requesting a cancellation and completing a new order with the proper shipping address.

Order confirmations are sent out immediately. Our emails may be mistakenly flagged as spam so please check your spam folder and mark us as nice instead of spam.

If you have not received confirmation from us, please complete the contact form and we will gladly help you further. If you don't remember your order number, please confirm the email address and complete name you supplied when completing your order so we can check into it for you!

We will send you an email with your online tracking information once your order has been sent from our warehouse. Use this information to track your order through the courier website, which is linked in the email.

We assign tracking numbers to parcels immediately before shipping. As soon as your shipment is shipped, we email you a tracking message with your tracking number and a link to where you may follow the order. Please check if such an email was sent to your spam folder.

Oh no! We're very sorry about this. We try our best to ensure that orders are correctly packaged, but sometimes people make mistakes. Please provide your order number and a photo of all the items received in our contact form.

To prevent missing orders, you must also provide a safe and secure address as the courier will safe drop your parcel if you are not at home. Any damaged or inaccurate orders must be reported to us within 7 days after receipt.

We may want further images of the damaged objects, so please do not dispose of them until you have contacted OWB; otherwise, we will be unable to assist you further.

Unfortunately, once a parcel has been shipped we are unable to modify its route, and we are also unable to assist further if it is delivered as addressed.

If you enter the wrong address, please contact us ASAP by emailing us with your order number or name you ordered under. If we haven't sent your parcel yet, we can easily change your address. If we have already sent your parcel, a $20 ‘return to sender’ fee will be charged. If your parcel is returned and we have not heard from you, the OWB team will initiate the refund procedure as soon as the parcel is received.

If your parcel has been returned to OWB we will contact you to discuss.

Please keep in mind that once an item has left our facility, it may take a few business days for some shipping couriers to update further tracking information on their website.
